The upper of the Asics Gel-Evation Women's Running Shoes features a open breathable mesh, providing the wearer with advanced comfort and breathability during there run. Asics California slip lasting also adds comfort, based upon the upper been stitched around the Eva board and directly attached to the midsole allows for added breathability and a sock like fit.

The rear of the foot has a Gel cushion syste which attenuates shocking during the impact phase of movement, therefore allows a smoother transitional period to the mid-stance. AHAR+ is Asics new, blown outsole material which gives over-enhanced cushiong, the durability and ride to the foot of the wearer. The midsole features a removeable sockliner, moulded into the shape of a foot to add comfort, yet remains removable giving the option for the wearer to do so.
