The Nike Lunar Eclipse 4 Running Shoes are now lighter in weight and greater in support and fit. This updated version of the Lunar Eclipse for the 2014 season delivers a greater fit and enhanced stability without sacrificing cushioning.

On the outsole, pressure map data helps inform a new pattern that more closely matches how the foot naturally moves through the stride. Designers applied these learnings to Lunarlon foam to enhance the cushioning properties and deliver greater flexibility. The result is an even more natural stride and fluid ride.

The shoe also features a heel support clip (a horseshoe-shaped piece that wraps the perimeter of the heel), offering a snug fit and movement with the foot to help prevent it from rolling too far inward or outward, reducing under or overpronation. Dynamic Support in the midsole also provides comfortable stability without the added weight or stiffness of a traditional medial post.

It allows impact force to be more evenly distributed and helps reduce painful pressure points on your foot.
